POWERSKATING for REGIONAL PLAYERS

The Cambridge Ringette Association is committed to providing all players with the skills necessary to enjoy the game of ringette.  Skating ability is a key factor to Ringette Success.   We are pleased to provide the opportunity for our players to improve their skating.

Classes cover the essentials of skating techniques as they apply to the game of Ringette.  Emphasis is on developing good habits at a young age including proper stance, body positioning, stride, crossovers, edge control, stopping, tight turns, balance, agility, speed and power.  The class is suitable for U9 (Bunny Select) to U12 (Petite) level regional players.

Classes take place on Friday evenings at Karl Homuth Arena from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.  Dates are listed below.

Powerskating session will be run by Steve Emmett (owner of SCE Hockey).  Steve was a professional hockey players drafted by the Minnesota North Stars and has over 30 years of powerskating instruction experience running camps both in Canada and across the US.

Maximum 25 skaters accepted on a first come basis.

COST: $125 (10 Hours of On-Ice Instruction)
